Barrister Adebisi Akintoye Johnson graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1991 from the Faculty of Law. He subsequently attended the Nigerian Law School for his Barrister at Law degree. He also attended the University of Lagos in 1996/1997 for his LL.M.

He began his private legal practice in 1992 at Dandare and Co., Bernin –Kebbi, Kebbi. In 1993, he joined the law firm of Olufemi Lanlehin and Co. where he was till 1997 before establishing his Law Firm, A. A. Sogunle and Associates.
