Mr Eni is a graduate of Accounting with Second Class, Upper Division, MBA holder and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).

He is also an associate of Credit Risk Managers of Nigeria. He has worked for over 20 years in various industries in Nigeria including aviation, communications, oil and gas and financial institution. His job functions included setting up of accounting system, development and implementation of finance and accounting policies, management of the accounting functions of the organizations, treasury and cash management, budget and budgetary control, preparation financial statements etc.

His over 15 years banking experience stretches through Credit Analysis, Financial Statements Analysis, Facility Structuring and Packaging, Risk Rating, Relationship Management; Project Management & Monitoring; Credit Examination, Credit Administration & Monitoring; Collections; Accounts Reconstruction, Accounts Reconciliation and Facility Restructuring; Loan Work–Out (Loan Remedial) and Debt Recovery, Product Development and Loan Portfolio Management.

Edet attended a number of courses in Credit Risk Management and Administration, Accounting and Finance, Auditing, Budgeting, Debt Management and Recovery, Internal Control and Auditing, Risk Analysis and Management, Total Quality Management (TQM), Consumer lending in Nigeria, Lease and Lease Administration, Risk Measurement and Management. Before Joining Refuge Mortgage Bank Limited, he was Group Head, Consumer Finance Group for over 7 years at Fidelity Bank Plc where he developed over 40 credit product papers, disbursed and managed over N150Bn consumer loans portfolio.
